AGRG LiDAR Summer Institute, June 29 – July 2
Materials offered (final schedule will be finalized based on needs of majority of participants):
- Intro to airborne lidar applications
- RFP/Project design
- Mission planning
- Hardware technology
- Sensor installation
- Data collection
- Data integration (GPS, IMU, scanner, range = point cloud)
- Calibration
- Data post-processing (cleaning, alignment, classification, rasterization, macros)
- Analytical techniques
Individual registration:
- Private and government sector = $2000 (additional participants from same institution = $1000)
- Academic sector = $500 (additional attendees from same institution = $250)
Venue:
- Applied Geomatics Research Group, Middleton, NS
- Centre of Geographic Sciences, Lawrencetown, NS
- Waterville airport, NS
Numbers:
- 20 participants in total
- First come first served
- Workstations and software licenses will be shared as needed
